So I am just sitting here bored on a rainy Friday night and figured I would add a update to the site and let everyone know about some of the upcoming things we have planned for The Dirt Racing Connection. But before we go any further I may say damn you Nick Cannon, you have dashed all the dreams and hopes I had for me and my dream woman. Mariah Carey Cannon sounds like a porn stars name and you sir have a new enemy in the form of Jody Shannon.

Now that I got that off my chest, lets continue.

• “Dirty Thoughts” Returns: Yes, “The Dirty One” Bryant Scudder is coming home and his article will be featured on The Dirt Racing Connection. I am excited, one because I can now read up on Florence Speedway while I serve out the remainder of my banishment, and two because Mr. Scudder brings the good stuff and holds nothing back when something is on his mind. Expect to hear detailed reports and unbiased opinions from several tracks in the Tri-State area, and lots of other fun stuff from the one and only “Dirtball.”

• The Weekend Warrior Returns: Another one of my old school writers will be returning to the scene soon. Kevin Lentz who drives a Late Model at Brushcreek Motorsports, Midway, Skyline, Rocky Top and several other tracks will be writing from his perspective, telling us about life as a budget racer, trying to fulfill his dream and achieve success in the Dirt Late Model world. Some guys have it all, and some guys bust their ass every week to make it to the track, Kevin is the latter and will tell you how he does it.

• Free Tickets to the Oakshade Raceway Birthday Race: Here in the next couple weeks we will give further information about the contest. We are considering a few different ways of doing this. I am all about a coloring contest, allow you crazy ass people out there to open Microsoft Paint and recreate some historical event. Something like the Bill Frye Vs. Scott Bloomquist incident, the two white flags incident at the World 100, another one that comes to mind is the DTWC oiling incident. I think with the creative group of readers we have on here, we could have some potentially hilarious entries.  Then again I might just do a boring random draw. Depends on what kinda mood I am in when I make a decision.

• The Moon Cam will be back!:  Due to the overwhelming populaity of the first installment, we will be putting the rush on some new footage to showcase. Everyone who enjoys the Moonvision as much as I do, please contact Jim and thank him and let him know you seen it on The Dirt Racing Connection. Jim Moon is a great guy who is sometimes misunderstood and can’t seem to get away from controversy. Simply put, he fits in well here!

• Still looking for more content, videos, photos, comments:  Listen guys and dolls, this site is as much yours as it is mine. If you have something to say or a opinion you would like to share with the world, feel free to contact me. I would love more videos and photos for the site, and anyone with a digital cam or cell phone can be a director. You don’t need DirtonDirt quality camera’s and production to put on something entertaining for the fans. Got a clip of some wicked action? Catch a awesome wreck?
