“Lil” John Whitney took the lead at the start and looked to be rolling to a easy feature win till he caught lapped traffic and allowed Barry Doss to pass him for the lead with a just handful of laps remaining. Whitney would fight back and the two would go four wide with lap traffic on the white flag lap with Whitney just nudging Doss at the line. The win was much needed for Whitney who has started the 2008 season in a slump. Behind Whitney and Doss was Billy Williams, Jeff Simonton and Roger Ruark.

Great job as always. Hope you can make it back out again this year!

I am sure I will be there several times this year. I need to move closer to turn one since the lighting at the track is what it is. The new banking should lead to better racing this year. Thanks for having me guys.
