Union County Speedway - 5-16-08 - Late Model Highlights

Patrick Sheltra survived a wild race to bring home his first victory of 2008. Sheltra passed early leader Shawn Negangard and never looked back. Many times the #23 had all four tires off the ground as he seemed to hydroplane over the wet surface. Behind him “Insane” Duane Chamberlain lived up to his name cutting through the field and making his way to fourth after starting 16th. One hell of a feature.

ALL I WANT TO KNOW IS WHY THEY LET CHAMBERLIN GET AWAY WITH THAT KIND OF DRIVING.
IF I WAS IN THAT RACE AND HE HIT ME LIKE HE DID FISHER THEN HE WOULD HAVE GOTTEN A BEATING AFTER THAT RACE.
THATS ALL I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THAT RACE.

well i think chamberlin was too fast for the track.. from what i saw in the video the track was horrible and all the cars were bouncing all over the place, the only times he touched anyone he hit a rut and slung him into a car.. can’t hate the guy for being fast he’s out there to win just like everyone else.. i would blame the racing conditions, the track was horrible that night.
thats all i have to say about that. “forest gump” hahaha…
