Listen up. I am not trying to demean anyone, or personally bash anyone, but if you watch this video you will understand why it made the site. The Modified division was running their feature and putting on a whale of a show, with cars passing in every turn on every lap when all a sudden the action came to a screeching halt. After one of the cars was black flagged and left the track, some kinda confusion transpired and resulted in a nearly ten minute caution period. I have uploaded five minutes of it, and everyone is welcome to see just how exciting it was to be forced to sit and watch the cars circle the track, lined up, and confused about the reason why the yellow flag was still out. Some of the highlights include the guy yelling around the two minute mark, Weasel Rhodes revving his motor and weaving back and forth ready go to green, and fans getting up and leaving. I debated on putting this video up, but I think it needs to been seen and let it be known this is the way you hurt your program. The video starts with the aftermath. The Modified feature rolled out midway through the night and as I left (with two features left) I filmed what was left of the crowd. I hope when I return to Brushcreek Motorsports again (maybe next week, maybe this summer, maybe next year?) they have rectified problems like this from occurring several times during the night. The racing action at Brushcreek is great, but ploddingly slow yellow flags kill the flow of the action and make you wanna rip your hair out.
