Eric Dearing surived the wildest feature race we have taped thus far in 2008. Lots of banging, a fist fight, and a ambulance all appear in this video.

This was bullshit!!
Elam didn’t deserved to get hit with a truck, and why the did he even get in the truck he was barely like 10ft away.. go figure…

First of all he was already in the truck. Second, he didn’t hit him with the truck. If he would have hit Elam, he would have hit his employee first because he was in between the truck & Elam. Elam was just unhappy because he didn’t get his way….go figure…

Actually Elam was standing the closest to the truck and the truck did hit him, you can see that right on the video up above. I wouldn’t say hit but ran over his foot more or less. From what I heard Elam has a broken foot? So if he has a broken foot how did it get that way? Simple, the truck ran his foot over!

Seriously, krazy4kk look at it from another computer. You can see it run over Brandens foot and ankle! The track employee is on the RIGHT side of Branden when the truck comes driving up…….

Well watching the video you can clearly see Richard run over Branden’s lower leg/foot/ankle. Im not sure what video krazy4kk is watching or if she just doesnt want to see the truth but it is very clear. And as for the track official you can see him step to the side when Richard is coming in the truck, so I dont know where these people are getting that he was in between Branden and the truck. So if Branden never got hit/ran over explain his rapped up foot…ohh wait you cant…go figure.

I think they should find a new track promotor…Richard is a joke, he is running off cars and the people. Now after this little episode who knows whats going to happen. Richard needs to clean up his act and grow up. There is no excuse to run over anyone, I dont care if you are drunk (which Richard probably was) or not. And accusing an 18 year old of being drunk and falling into a hole, well he must of had perfect timeing to hit the hole and fall right when the truck hit him…seriously this is not something that will just blow over, Richard should be gone after that, maybe the police wont do anything but if the track owners have good judgement and care about the cars/people they would get rid of Richard.

I never been to brown county, heard stories about it though. They should hire the guy who runs this site Jody to promote the track. wouldnt that be great. call the owners today Jodee! LOL

Well who cares if he was in the truck or got in the truck, personally he was barely 10ft away from them there was no need to even drive the truck over there!!!
Point is all you have to do is watch the video, I think it speaks for itself, krazy4kk. Richard clearly hit Elam with the truck!!!
I am sorry, until Richard is gone, I don’t think I will ever return to the track, I suggest half the racers don’t either, because you never know what’s next?
Hell this is the first time Richard has done something stupid…. believe me!! I mean he has even pulled a gun on someone in the pits!! I think its time Brown county got a change of pace!!
Hell I will even volunteer to run the track!! I know I could do a better joB!

I know alot of people who are not going back to BCS until Richard is gone, and none of them my (Elam) family or anyone associated with them will be back.
I remember Richard pulling the gun and i also remember him pulling a knife on someone. So if that didnt open the owners eyes, maybe this will. At this rate BCS will be closed by June 7th, and seriously it is a nice track its just Richard.
Krazy4kk just doesnt want to realize that her dad is a pathetic alcoholic idiot. Seriously the video needs no explaining, you can clearly see him hitting and running over Branden.
I think they should have sold the track to Paul Spires when they had the chance and I guarentee you nothing like this would of ever happened. Well Richard would not be running the track for one thing, someone educated would.
So I agree with Traci…we should boycott BCS until Richard is gone.

I feel bad for Brown Co. as a track, because the track has been looking very fast the past couple weeks I have been there, and the new banking is awesome. Just the management sucks, as in Richard.
I hope things change too. She can’t honestly believe that he didn’t hit Elam. Cameras don’t lie!
I know this incident and the gun incident isn’t the only thing Richard has done, IT IS TIME FOR A CHANGE BCS!!
I back the Elam family 100% on this one!!

I have already apologized for the fact that I hadn’t watched the video before I posted that last comment. Because I hadn’t seen it for myself and was just going off of what everyone had been telling me. TeeaCook21 is right, the truck didn’t “hit” him, the tire got his foot. Traci96Lynne7, you can thank Richard for the new awsome banking because he is the one that had it done. So he actually doesn’t suck as a promoter. He does a heck of a job running that track eventhough he puts up with a lot of crap, he still enjoys doing it. Yeah this incident does put a damper on things, but it was clearly an accident. As for the gun and knife incidents, can anyone tell me when and to whom they happened, if at all??

Actually the tire did a little more than “get his foot” he cleary ran his foot over.
Wow your dad actually put some money into the track…about time. Now he should invest in some new lights and bleachers, and real bathrooms, but we all know that wont happen. If anyone puts up with alot of crap its his drivers, thats why everyone is leaving that track and going elsewhere. And obviously we are not the only ones who thinks he sucks as a promotor…look at him, he drinks while he is running the track..who does that, and Im not the only one who knows that, last night someone who used to work for Richard told me herself that he was drinking on Saturday and that wasnt the first time that has occured.
And no sorry im not going to believe that was an accident, maybe he didnt mean to hit Branden but he was deff. using his truck as a force to break up a fight that was never happening.
Ohhh and also to add to the gun and knife thing, I rememeber last year Richard threating to slit Bobby’s throat. So obviously Richard needs some kind of mental help.

Alright this is the last time I am saying anything to you, Krazy.. because honestly you and your dad ain’t worth the time of day.
Okay he’s done one good thing, and how many years as a promoter??? oo boy banking.. the payout sucks, the rest of the track needs tending to, banking sure its great.. but thats the only thing he has done in years!!!
The gun incident was a few years ago, and i know people that were there, not sure who it was that it was pulled on. He threated to silt Bobby’s throat!! Ohh and yes I was there..It happen at Molar’s last year…
I agree with Chandin.. I am not taking ohh it was accident, just for the simple fact that he had no need to drive the truck over there, he could of walked, ohh walk or stumble lol.. have a great life Krazy you are definitely in denial!
