“Lil” John Whitney grabbed his biggest win of the 2008 season, winning the Robbins/Greenlee Memorial in dominating fashion. Billy Williams lead early on with Doss following. Whitney faded early but came to the front and made it three wide for the lead around the halfway point. As the laps clicked off, Whitney nearly caught the battle for second through fifth and lapped them. Whitney coasted out of turn four and was in victory lane before the second place car crossed the line.
