The night John Jutte became a legend

I have had many people ask me about what I do when I leave the race track. Do I go home and edit clips? Do I head to the hotel and call it a night? I decided to give you a sampling of some of the things that occur when I get to Darke County.

After the races at Eldora, I found myself at John Jutte’s house, somewhere in St. Henry to the best of my recollection. In a scene that rivals Moses splitting the Red Sea, John Jutte attempted to ride his four wheeler across his pond. Jutte, a modern day Evil Knievel (they even share drinking habits) tells us about his first stunt, and despite the low lighted area, we have footage of him almost drowning. While the ending is Anti-Climatic, the courage and perseverance shown in this video is unbelievable, and should be shown to many generations down the road. I can proudly say I was present the night John Jutte became a legend.

Warning: the following video features stunts performed either by professionals or under the supervision of professionals. Accordingly, The DRC and the producers must insist that no one attempt to re-create or re-enact any stunt or activity performed on this site.

I will let John know he has a fan. We are already in discussions about what his next stunt will be. I will speak with my technicians and see what we can come up with. I personally think we need to add fire to the equation.

I think he should try to run that thing across the pond at Eldora Friday night about 3am. Charge $5 each to watch.
