Brushcreek Heritage 101 Night 1 Updates

Posted Jody Shannon on August 1st, 2008 | Filed under Commentary, Jody Shannon, The DRC

- Kramer and Weasel put on a hell of a show battling the entire way. Rhodes broke on the final lap. Rhodes threw several slide jobs on Kramer and nearly passed him numorous times. Behind them the story was Jess Hartman who started deep in the pack. Hartman caught the lead duo in the final laps, and simply ran out of time. Track was very racy, but dust was a issue in the feature. In his victory lane interview Kramer thanked all the fans in attendance and told us that he loved the track and despite being in the middle of nowhere it was diamond in the rough. Kramer ended his interview saying he plans on riding out of here with a new Harley tomorrow night. I will try and do another update later tonight before I go to bed, and will be back tomorrow morning doing the same stuff we did tonight. Thanks for checking the site out.

Good race with three and sometimes four wide racing through the field. The #1z from New York was the show. After showing up late he started at the tail and picked off eleven spots. Had he started up front he would have been a factor.

- These are all unofficial for now. I am just doing it visually, I will have the official run down here in a few. Legends feature on the track. Sorry if the site got jumbled for a second, I have no clue how it happend. During the heats my internet signal got locked up and when it returned everything was out of place.

Weasel Rhodes - Clint Jamison
Chris Stotts - Chad Kinder
Ronnie Lee Whitt - Joe Hunley

- 9:13 Qualifying is over and Legend heats are on the track. When I get a line up or qualifying order I will pass it along to everyone.

- Hot laps are finished and the legends are on the track hot lapping. It looks like we have about 11 or 12 for the $1,000 to win.- Hot laps are on the track now. So far four groups have gone, and the yellow flag has waved twice. Once for a Dave Groves and Joel Watson spin in turn four. The second was for Sean Boggess looping it in turn four. Track is night and heavy on the top and middle and a little dry on the bottom. To me Kramer and Bowersock appeared to be the fastest cars out thus far.
