Scott Bloomquist Knows What Makes Firecracker 100 by GottaRace.com At Lernerville Speedway A Can’t-Miss Event

After Scott Bloomquist won the Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com for the second time last year at Lernerville Speedway, he spent about 15 minutes meeting with press members in the facility’s media room.

ANDY FAYASH JR. MEMORIAL RACE FOR SPORTSMAN SCHEDULED ON JUNE 14th

This past weekend, all of us in the racing community lost one of our own with the untimely passing of Andy Fayash Jr.

Andy had competed in all types of racing since his start in 1984, and was a feature winner in every division he raced.  Even more important than feature wins, Andy’s reputation in the pit area was second to none.  He was always willing to lend a helping hand, a part, or even his car to anyone that he felt needed it more than he did.  He was always there with a freindly conversation or funny story for anyone that was willing to listen.  Those qualities are what endeared him to his fellow competitors, and why he will be so dearly missed.

Positions two through four are another story though, and Thursday’s performance will have a big impact on how the second provisional will be awarded. 12th Place Finish at 141 Speedway for Budzo Racing

With Luxemburg Speedway raining out on Friday night, we were hoping to get our 2013 racing season underway at Thunderhill Raceway on Saturday night for their season opener. Unfortunately, a mix of rain and snow early in the day forced track officials at Thunderhill to postpone their opener until next Saturday.

The storm system stayed north enough of 141 Speedway to allow them to get their 3rd consecutive week of racing in. We decided around 2pm to load up and head to 141 to shake down the car.
