Lake Cumberland Speedway returned to action on Saturday evening after three straight rainouts with a benefit night for the American Cancer Society and Skylar Marlar of Winfield, TN would pick up the $2,500 payday in the Super Late Model division main event. Other feature winners for the evening included Jimmy Payne of Glasgow, KY in Modifieds, Tim McMullin of Bronston, KY in Super Dirt Stocks/Road Hogs, and Charles Burton of Somerset, KY in Front Wheel Drives.
The Super Late Model feature event would see Skylar Marlar start in the fourth position, but when all was said and done, he would be standing in victory lane and would have earned $2,500 for his efforts in the PPM Racing Products sponsored #257 PPM Racing Chassis machine. Third place starting Justin Rattliff would take runner-up honors, while polesitter Victor Lee, outside polesitter Brad Neat, and Mike Weeks would complete the top five. The remainder of the top ten would be David Marlar, Jay Mobley, Kenny Cobble, Johnny Wheeler, and Jeff Watson. Lee and Neat would take heat race wins.
