Lake Cumberland Speedway kicked off its 2013 racing season on Saturday evening and feature event winners included Victor Lee of Danville, KY in Super Late Models, Tommy Gregory of Monticello, KY in Modifieds, and Jeremy Howard of Berea, KY in Super Dirt Stocks/Road Hogs.

The Super Late Model feature would see Jason Barrett grab the initial lead only to have the start nullified when Terry Tomlinson made heavy contact with the outside wall in turn three.  The restart would see Barrett again grab the top spot, with Todd Coffman and Victor Lee giving chase.  Lee would work past Coffman on lap 3 and set his sights on Barrett, only to have the action slowed on lap 6 for a caution for Dennis Barton, who had suffered a flat left-rear tire.  During the caution, Barrett would develop mechanical issues and pull his mount pitside, handing the lead over to Lee.  The remainder of the event would go caution-free and Lee would pull away from Coffman to grab the win aboard the JAACO Mining Supplies/Hatcher Auto Sales/Xtreme Style Signs and Graphics sponsored #4 Revelution Chassis.  Coffman would take second, while defending track champion Johnny Wheeler would finish third.  Ernie Cordier and Barton would complete the top five.  Eight entries saw Coffman set quick time at 13.053 second and also win the heat.
